ESSAY

I have learned plenty of insights from Mr. Alexander A. Abrencillo, although I'm not the one who interviewed him. One of those insights was learning to love your job, because there are no good results if your mind is not on what you're doing. Also the attitudes that you should have during the work. On the work like his', you must be a resourceful and fast person. I was inspired on the following things he have said and came a thought that I want to be a Foreman too someday. But, I have my own dreams - being a CPA.

Nothing was change on my understandings in goals and works in a real world. In my age, I already knew what is the best one for me and which is not. I already knew what is the best thing to do on attaining my goals or dreams in life. There are some similarities of being a Foreman and an Accountant. One is that they are both on the study of numbers. The person working for these kind of jobs should be both good in calculus. 10 years from now, maybe i'll be a successful person for my family and for my job.

We interviewed Mr. Alexander A Abrencillo who was a Foreman - a construction worker who leads other workers in communication with the engineer. We know that Sir Alex was servicing about 18 years since he was only 38 years old. He also told us that he makes layouts/plans of the construction cite, leading workers, working on decivery. Being a "leader", he said, did not like a slow-moving workers, workers who didn't work hard and of course, the slow deliveration of materials.

He likes workers who works hard to produce smart and quality works. He love the noontime nap and also the salary day.

Being a Foreman, you should have the leading characteristics ( you should know what is the plan of the site), you should also be a fast decision maker, mathematical ability and have a respectful appearance and attitudes. To fulfill and develop skills, you should train yourself to lead others, decision makings, dimensional calculations, mastering construction plans and keeping the boss attitudes.

He advice students like us to study hard, keeping focus on our studying, practice and practice makes us a successful engineer someday, also calculations and mathematical abilities.
